What Do Girl Scouts Do ... So Many Things?
Girl Scouts meet and work towards awards and patches (the colorful badges on Girl Scout Tunics and Sashes). Every week at troop meetings, Girl Scouts follow mini development programmes which run over 2 to 3 meetings. The Organisation has an extensive libraries of study material allowing Troop Leaders to plan and deliver truely inspiring sessions.
Much of the material is STEM based but there are just as many options to study Nature or Health or Animals. The list is vast; Earth Science, Space, Writing Books, Painting; Just about anything for young minds to explore.
It's well known that Girl Scouts also like to take an interest in the Outdoors and love to go camping, sing camp-fire songs and roast 'S'mores' (a marshmellow sandwitched between two cookies). As far possible, we try to offer an authentic experience, whilst maintaining the fun and keeping it safe.
